A is for Antichrist review
Truth be told, I did not mind this story of the unknowing Antichrist coming into his own on his 16th birthday. After a slow start, it intensifies into a satisfying - if fairly standard - short story. On that basis alone, I would have happily given it 3 stars and gone on to chase down B, C D etc in this alphabetised series.
However, and this is a big one, somehow Wright or his publisher (I suspect they are one and the same) managed to release a version of the story that still had the final round of edits made via "track changes" included within the work. It's hard (for me at least) to overlook something so fundamental that was allowed to pass and then permitted to continue existing months after its release. It screams of a significant lack of care factor. So ...
