I hoped this wouldn't happen, but reading Swan Song has turned into a bit of a slog. 330-odd pages in and people are still moving toward destinations, with the central conflict and its eventual resolution seemingly many, many pages away.
I think I also resent the length of Swan Song a little because it's a long time since I didn't finish any book within a week.
